This study establishes a comprehensive mathematical framework for the analysis of radial differential equations, identifying a fundamental connection between three distinct classes of problems: the nonlinear Riccati equation, the linear Schrödinger equation, and the Hamilton--Jacobi--Bellman equation for stochastic control.
