The rules for how objects move and speed up might simply emerge from the way quantum information is tangled together.
Relativity is usually treated as a fundamental given that we just have to accept about the universe. This proof shows that these rules are actually the unique result of how quantum entanglement flows. As entanglement density reaches a certain point, the familiar laws of particle motion naturally appear. This suggests that space and time are not the primary ingredients of reality, but are built out of information. It provides a new path for unifying the strange world of the very small with the gravity of the very large.
