This study examines how host gender shapes economic outcomes in digital platforms through perceived trustworthiness (PTR) and how this relationship is conditioned by visual clarity. Using data from 2,709 Airbnb hosts with manually annotated visual features, we estimate a moderated mediation model linking gender, trust, and price.
